The Micro Studio, as the name implies, is small, but that doesn’t mean we don’t get huge sounds! This year some great new work has been happening.
I have been collaborating with folk duo Oakes & Smith as they work on their debut full length album, on which I’ve had the opportunity to play every stringed instrument I own! Recorded at The Isokon in Woodstock, NY, we’ve added overdubs at the Micro Studio. I also had the pleasure of performing & recording guitar tracks and mixing their debut self-titled EP. In addition, I am working heavily with my dear friend Carrie Grossman, co-writing and co-producing some songs for her upcoming release “Touch The Sky.” We were graced with the presence of Steve Gorn, world renowned Classical Indian Flutist, when he came by to lay down some tracks for Carrie’s “Guru Stotram” and “He Ma Devi Ma.”
