Equally inspired by Yoga & Music, Justin strives to integrate the two into a unified, creative practice. As he gains more experience, he aspires to offer future workshops on the intersection of Yoga & Music.
Justin began his yoga practice at the age of 16, and In 2009 he earned his 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from the Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, MA, where he studied with renowned teachers Sudha Carolyn Lundeen and Prem Shakti Mary Stout.
After spending some time teaching in New York City, Justin returned to his home in the Berkshires to take up new musical endeavors, and prepare for a trip abroad to India.
In Rishikesh, India, Justin studied with Yogi Vishvketu at the Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram where he earned is 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification. Justin is experienced in teaching a variety of yoga styles including Kripalu, Akhanda 1 & 2, Hatha Raj, Classical Kundalini, Restorative, and Chair Yoga. (See the blog below for class descriptions)
As well, he is trained in technique for teaching special populations like prenatal women, elderly, and individuals living with physical disabilities. Justin teaches & develops workshops with his partner, Alex Burnett-Greenstein.
